Dumfries marked a major milestone this week with the opening of a new Tesla Supercharger site at the Dumfries Wawa, celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 26. The 12-stall, V4 Supercharger location gives residents, commuters, and travelers a fast, modern charging option while drawing more visitors into town to support local businesses. Councilwoman Caetrina Peterson joined Mayor Derrick R. Wood, town staff, and community members at the event to celebrate this latest step forward for Dumfries as a growing hub for transportation and economic opportunity in Northern Virginia.
